# API reference

> Reference for Higgsfield image and video generation operations, request status, and cancellation.

The API reference is generated from the public OpenAPI specification. It includes model-specific generation schemas plus the shared status and cancellation operations.

**Base URL:** `https://api.higgsfield.ai`

All endpoints require the [`Authorization` header](/docs/authentication).

Use the generation endpoint available to your account. Use **Get request status** in the sidebar to retrieve state and output for an existing request. Use **Cancel a queued request** to stop work that has not started processing.
