# Model training opt-out

> Exclude your generated outputs from model training.

A personal account or an organization can exclude the outputs it generates through the API from the data used to train Higgsfield models.

## Turn it on

1. Sign in to [Higgsfield Console](https://console.higgsfield.ai) and select your personal account or organization.
2. Open **Settings**.
3. Turn on the option to exclude outputs from training.

The setting applies to the selected account, for every API key. It is off by default. Turn it off the same way.

## What it covers

* It covers the outputs your requests generate.
* It does not change how requests are processed, priced or delivered.
* It is independent of [data retention](https://docs.higgsfield.ai/docs/enterprise/data-retention.md): outputs are still kept until they expire or you delete them. Combine both to keep outputs for a short time and exclude them from training.
